Door Code: The code to the front door will be emailed to you separately the day before your arrival. Touch the keypad and it will light up, then enter your code.
Gas Fireplaces
We have two cozy gas fireplaces available from October–March—one inside and one on the covered patio. Both fireplaces run on propane.

🕯️ The pilot light is already lit, so there’s no need to worry about starting it.

⏰ Simply choose your desired amount of time using the timer located on the wall to the right of the fireplace.

🪵 Please do not add real wood to either fireplace.

🍳 Please do not cook food in the fireplaces.

🧣 Sit back, relax, and enjoy a warm, cozy evening!
Fire Pit
Our outdoor fire pit is the perfect spot for an evening around the fire, making s’mores, or enjoying a little fireside music. 🎸🍫✨

🪵 The real firewood provided is specifically for the fire pit located behind the cabin.

🔥 A lighter is available in the kitchen drawer to help you get the fire started.

🌙 For everyone’s safety, please make sure the wood-burning fire is completely extinguished before heading to bed.
Grill
Ready for an outdoor meal? Our propane grill makes it easy! 🌭🍔🥩

⏱️ The grill has an automatic timer safety shut-off valve on the hose behind the grill.

🔄 Turn the valve to your desired cooking time, and the propane will be ready to use.

🔥 Once the propane is on, use the ignition buttons to start the flame.

✅ When you're finished grilling, simply turn the timer back to OFF.

🍴 Grilling utensils are provided in the drawer to the left of the oven.

🗑️ The garbage disposal switch is located under the sink.

🍽️ A tan dish-drying rack is located under the sink. Please note: this is for air-drying dishes only and is not an oven/baking rack.
A Little Something Extra
We’ve also provided a variety of Trader Joe’s spices for you to enjoy. 🌿🧂 They’re located in the drawer to the left of the oven.

Laundry Room
We’ve got you covered if you need to freshen up your clothes during your stay! 🧦✨

🧼 Full-size washer and dryer are available for your convenience.

🫧 Liquid laundry detergent is provided. For a full load, please fill the detergent tray about halfway.

🌸 A few dryer sheets are available in the bin labeled “Laundry.”

🧺 A wire laundry basket is available for your use.

👕 A metal drying rack and hangers are provided for air-drying clothes and swimsuits.
Hot Tub Instructions
We hope you enjoy relaxing in the hot tub! 🌲✨ Please take a few minutes to review these instructions so you can enjoy it safely and comfortably.

🌡️ Set the temperature about 1 hour before getting in. Adjust the temperature on the hot tub to your desired setting.

🧪 After each use, please add 1 tablespoon of chlorine to the hot tub.
-
🧴 The chlorine is safely stored above the washer and dryer in the container labeled “Hot Tub.”

💦 The water is changed after every checkout, so the hot tub may not be fully heated on your first night. There is a lot of fresh water to warm up, so please allow some extra time.
Hot Tub Safety & Policy
Your safety is important to us! Please follow these guidelines to help keep everyone safe and keep the hot tub in great condition.

🚫 Please never sit or stand on the hot tub cover. This includes children. Replacement covers cost $400.

👀 Children must be supervised at all times while using the hot tub.

🚫🍷 No glass, alcohol, drugs, food, or pets are allowed in the hot tub.
-
🚫🧴 Please keep soaps, creams, oils, bubbles, and lotions out of the hot tub.
-
🚿 Please shower with soap and water before and after using the hot tub.
-
🛁 Keep the hot tub cover securely in place whenever the hot tub is not being used.
-
💧 Please drain any standing water from the cover to prevent unnecessary weight and freezing.
-
🐿️ Keeping the cover on also helps conserve energy, keep dirt and debris out, and prevent animals or young children from accidentally getting into the hot tub.

💇♀️ If you have long hair, please tie it up in a ponytail or bun to help prevent it from getting caught in the filter or drain.

❄️ Use extra caution during winter. When temperatures are below freezing, water splashed over the edge can quickly freeze and create slippery ice around the hot tub.
Temperature Guidelines
Please choose a safe temperature based on who will be using the hot tub.

👶 Children: Never use the hot tub when the water is warmer than bath water (about 90°F).

🧑 Adults: Please keep the water temperature below 104°F.

👨👩👧👦 Always consider the age, health, and comfort of everyone using the hot tub.
Alcohol & Hot Tub Safety

For your safety, please avoid alcohol or drugs while using the hot tub. ♨️

Hot water can amplify the effects of alcohol and drugs, which can cause increased drowsiness and impair your ability to safely regulate your body temperature. Falling asleep in hot water can be extremely dangerous and increases the risk of drowning and overheating.

🚿 Before: Showering removes lotions, oils, and bacteria from your skin, helping protect the water and filter.
